We're a boutique liquor store in the heart of Thirroul, just an hour south of Sydney. We stock premium wines, craft beers and spirits — and we're dedicated to great customer service, genuine product knowledge, and making your next bottle the right one.
Our story
From the IGA carpark to your cellar.
Thirroul Cellars is family-run and independently owned. Our co-owner Rory O'Carroll has spent years in the retail and hospitality liquor industry, and took over the store when it came up for sale — it had been managed by his wife at the time, so the family connection to the shop runs deep.
We stock a wide range of Australian and imported wines, craft beers, local South Coast spirits, champagnes and interesting premixes. Our team offers genuine wine advice, tips on new labels, and access to cleanskin wines and limited-release bottles from family vineyards we've known for years.
What sets us apart is the combination of range and knowledge. We've invested in a tasting bar so our team can share products with you personally — not just point you at a shelf. Whether you're after something familiar or want to discover something new from the South Coast or beyond, we're here to help.
